Rosie vs Pox News

Well, the other day I posted Rosie O'Donnell's rather logic-driven comments on War, Bush, the Media, and 9/11.

Remember that scene in Independence Day when after Dennis Quaid got through, the aliens unleashed hell?

Kinda the same thing with PoxNews.

The day after, The Foxies went of full bore attack. You can almost predict this crap.

Hold that thought. According to Variety.com, The View" averaged a 1.7 rating in the key demo of women 18-49, making it the No. 4 show in all of daytime, not to mention an average aud of 3.4 million viewers -- up 15% vs. the same frame in 2005. (Source: http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117955333.html?categoryid=14&cs=1). Meanwhile, Billo can only gather 2.4 million viewers for HIS nightly spewfest. (Source: www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/original/feb07ranker.pdf). Conclusion: Rosie is not the one who should be worried.

Fox continues....

And while we're at it, let's not forget Limbaugh-wanna Glenn Beck on what-used-to-be-Headline News:

Glenn, let me just let you know.......Rush is Rush. Here is L.A. hs is at 50Kw flamethrower KFI pulling 10 ratings. You are on some battery-operated station in Anaheim that doen't know if it wants to be Spanish or English. And stop talking about being a victim of media bias Glenn: YOU WORK FOR GODDAMNED C-N-F'N-N for God(dess)'s sake.

God!

How long can this go on....

Yet another friend of mine is on the verge of dissapearing off the face of the earth. All this thanks to a hardy band of what I would term chronic prudes.
If you have read these blogs for any measured length of time, you can tell that, among other things, my view of sex and sexuality is quite askew from what is laughingly called the main stream. So much so, that many times I have to measure my words simply so I can live to post another day.
I have had accounts pulled twice for "TOS" violations. Those are the terms of service we all agree to when we sign up for these services. The problem is, whenit comes to things sexual, those terms are about as vague as the plotline of Lost.
Five people that I know have lost thier identities on Yahoo alone. One....a person I loved....dissapeared completly. And now another person I care about is on the verge of being silenced.
This has been going on for some time. But it seems that I am the only one who is saying anything about this. Maybe because some people do not care, or that they think it does not include them.
Bull.
If you are on Yahoo, Google/Blogger, MySpace, Tribe, Mulitiply, or any number of sites, and your sexuality is no more dangerous than a slice of cheesecake, there is a target marked on your back.
IMHO, there is a loosely-knit group of people who feel that the internet MUST be controlled. Like the Desparate Housewives of "Perverted Justice," the guys who work with NBC to entrap people looking for young stuff, these are people with too much time on thier hands who feel they have to purge the web of things.....images....and people.....they find........offensive.
They will join your group, say nothing, hang in the shadows, and quietly object to the horrible, terrible things they saw and heard......MY GOD! A NIPPLE!! WHAT IF MY CHILD SEES THIS!!!! These are the sam prigs that take thier kids to Quinten Tarentino movies because they are too cheap for a sitter.
Then you get The Letter. It just says you violated a rule. They don;t say what rule, and they don make it clear what you have to do to correct it, but they warn one more and that's it.
And that's if you are lucky to get the The Letter.
Oh, and let me add, they never tell you who is offended or why.
Which means these vultures can remain in the shadows and persecute anyone they want while while trying to keep that phony halo on thier heads.
These are the same bloody fools who will go into chat rooms and tell people you will burn in hell.
Right.
And this will continue until people start to rise up and demand that the service providers develop some testicles and fight these people.
For me, I will not dissapear. From this wilderness my friends and I will be heard. The revolution shall transpire. And the efforts to stop it will be futile.
Mark these down....if I dissapear, I'll be here:

Ford dropping public support for the homosexual
agenda?

Dear Donald,
It appears that Ford Motor Company, in response to
AFA's boycott, is silently dropping public support for the homosexual
agenda. Here's why.

For years, Ford has advertised in the homosexual publications OUT and
The Advocate. Since January Ford has not had any advertising in the
magazines. In addition, Ford no longer sponsors the Gay & Lesbian Alliance
Against Defamation Media Awards, which they have sponsored for
years.

When we looked at all the other homosexual events Ford has sponsored in
the past, Ford was nowhere to be found.

The homosexual groups have remained silent about Ford's moves, fearful
that other companies may follow Ford's lead. Since the boycott began, not
a single homosexual group has publicly supported Ford.

However, it could be that the homosexual groups have agreed to be
treated as second-class citizens by Ford, continuing to get money from Ford but
agreeing not to publicly acknowledge Ford's support.

In February, Ford's sales dropped 13.5% compared to a year ago. Ford's
sales have consistently gone down since the boycott began.

But now is not the time to back off! Now is the time to support
the boycott even more. Other companies are watching Ford to see if the
boycott is successful. That is why we need to give it another boost!

Take Action
1. E-mail a letter to CEO Alan Mulally asking if Ford
still financially supports the homosexual agenda. 2. Sign the Boycott Ford
Pledge if you haven't already done so. 3. Forward this to friends and family.
For more information on Ford’s support of the homosexual agenda, go to
BoycottFord on the Web.

Click Here to Email CEO Mulally Now!If you
think our efforts are worthy, would you please support us with a small
gift?
Thank you for caring enough to get involved.
Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon,
Founder and Chairman
American Family
Association

Your are right, Dr. Wildmon, now is NOT the time to back down. You see, THIS BLOG and its author HAVE supported For on this from the get-go. And the reason, you want to see non-heterosexuals......read non-Christians....better stated: Christians that do not support your closed-minded views dead.
As a CHRISTIAN organization, I have not heard one word of sorrow, anger, or indignation concerning the many who have died at the hands of homophobes simply because they were gay or bisexual. Your entire motis operendi is to destroy people and thoughts that do not correspond to yours.
And, in terms of what you seem to be working against, it seems you, Dr. Wildmon, may be the pervert, pointing out "salacious" scenes from TV series, the lovingly posting them on your website and YouTube.
There is still time to let Ford know that they should not back down, but continue recognizing non-hetro people as humans....humans who buy cars....lots of them
You can also contact Donald Wildmon and AFA here: http://www.afa.net/contact.asp. You can also call them at (662) 844-5036 and respectfully DEMAND that they make public their books so we can see how their operation is funded.
And contact Congress....I know they have more pressing matters these days....and let them know you want and inquiry into whether the AFA is adhering to the spirit of their 5013c tax-exemption: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/home/
It is time we stand up against this. Long past time.

Be Careful What You Wish For...

When I read things like this, I feel a bit like George Peppard's character on The A Team: I love it when a plan comes together.
Especially one like this, the way it did.
Images like the one above where plastered all over Colorado to help elect candiates who were, to be precise, pro-xenophobia. Of course the public labele was "anti-illgeal immigration," but we all know the code. We love you, unless you are brown.
Brown and, as the 'phobes told Coloradans, "stealing our jobs!" So two things happened. First, the US Goverement staged raids on companies that hired the undocumented. Of course, you did not see what happened, except for some slighly edited cuts on the local preenfests masquerading as news. What this is may be something you have not seen before. Watch.

Lovely.

The other thing that happened was the fact that some of the toughest ID laws in the country were passed. the local gentry was now empowered to stop anyone and check ID. If it did not pass muster, you would dealt with. One has to wonder how many people with pink or even dark brown skin were stopped.

The outcome: a mass exodus of the undocumented. Most people do not have to be told when they were not wanted. The people got what they wanted.

Now for that other shoe. Remember that old chestnut about these people doing what you would not do? Well, when the illegals left, the companies offered almost $10 an hour to American-born workers to work the same fields the Mexicans picked for nearly have that.

And where were all the strapping, red-blooded American workers lining up for these jobs? Well, the answer is mere speculation, seeing that practially no one showed, but you can watch a lot of ESPN while holing on to an unemployment check waiting for that CEO opening at Coors.

So with crops literally dying on the feilds, the farmers turned to anothetr source. Prisoners.

Not mass murderers mind you, but "low-risk" prisoners who would pick those fields....possibly with guns at thier backs....for 60 cents a day.

60 CENTS A DAY.

The only thing missing is Strother Martin observing about a failure to communicate, to the accompaniment of Sam Cooke.

Yes we do have a problem with porous borders, and yes, it is true that many of the undocumented are not Mexico's best and brightest, but we must be honest. Most of this problem is not centered on our concerns of security, but our fear of things darker than we. Of languages we cannot understand. Of music we do not comphrend. And a fear, fanned by modern day Orval Faubus' and George Wallaces' that these hordes will take over our culturem impregnate out daughters, and destroy the very fabric of our lives. You know...soccer instead of the NFL.

And as it has always been....and yes I will call is such....our racism now becomes our downfall. Bacause not only it puts us at risk with prisoners picking plums...or whatever....but it shows up up to be the lazy, worthless bums we are, willing to blame anyone......blacks, the Japanese, Al Quida, liberals, gays, Mexicans, what have you.....for our own sloth.

The picture it paints is ugly. And it lasts. 30, 40 years, maybe more. Just ask the Birmingham, AL Chamber of Commerce.

Yes be careful...very careful what you wish for. Getting it may be the bitch.

Homelessness...a small persective.

Here is a perspective. There are 754,000 homeless people in this country...and that figure is conservative. In 2008, the government is going to throw $1.6 billion at the problem.

Soinds great, until you do some third-grade arithmetic.

$1,600,000,000/754,000=$2122.16 per person...

So every day, per person, spend $5.81.

That just about would get you a burger, fries and drink. People need shelter and jobs, and we're giving them Happy Meals.

And somehow, we think that $6.00 a day per person is going to cure this?

We ARE cheapskates, aren't we?
